Join us for a fun and creative 4-week handbuilding class designed for beginners and anyone looking to refresh their clay skills! Each week, we’ll explore a different fundamental technique in ceramics:

Week 1: Pinch pots with coil additions

Week 2: Coil building

Week 3: Slab building

Week 4: Finishing and surface decoration

Students will have access to a wide selection of underglazes to personalize their work, and we’ll cover surface decoration techniques in the final class. Clear glazing of finished pieces is included in the class fee (we’ll take care of this for you), or students can opt to pay a small additional fee to attend an extra session and learn how to glaze their pieces themselves. *

Whether you're new to clay or returning after a break, this course is a great opportunity to explore your creativity in a relaxed, supportive environment.

This class will run from May 26th, from 6pm to 9pm, with the following classes being on May 26th, June 2nd, June 9th, and June 16th. 

* If you are wanting to join an additional class to learn how to glaze your pieces with standard glazes, there are two sessions available to do so: June 10th from 6pm - 9pm, and June 14th from 10am - 2pm. Please select the appropriate add on when purchasing your ticket.
