While product development and business plan writing are the focus of so many entrepreneurship programs, Financial management is the unsung and essential discipline that all successful entrepreneurs must master if they want their venture to have longevity.

The first hour of this workshop will be a talk from Joey, focusing on what to invest in early on, what you need to keep track of, and how to reflect on and grow past your inherited attitudes towards money. The second hour of this talk will be a Q&A, where you can ask an expert your pressing questions, to ensure you can apply this learning and hit the ground running with it.

Joey Crampton is a Metis resident of Treaty 1 territory. He is a certified Professional Coach, Entrepreneur and CPA with 35 years of experience. In his coaching practice, he helps entrepreneurs and achievers identify and grow towards their goals. He is The Winnipeg Executive Committee (TEC) Chair, an organization dedicated to the learning and mutual success of business leaders in the community. In his past life as a CPA, he spent 20 years managing the finances of SMEs. He’s also a parent and a fantastic guitar player.
