NYC filmmakers! Want to screen your short film? RSVP here for free (free to attend) + $10 at door to screen your short film.
It's hard to get your short film screened. Film festivals are great, but there's months of waiting and hoping to see if your film was even chosen. Well, here's your chance to get your short film in front of an audience!
It's free to attend... but if you wish to get your short film screened, it's $10 at the door and a one drink minimum (alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages). Most film festivals have insane entry fees and it's not even close to guaranteed that you get in. No, it doesn't carry the prestige of traditional film festivals and no, you won't be receiving any laurels. But it's a cool spot to have your film seen live. Awesome drinks, awesome vibes. Bring your own snacks.
DETAILS
- If you are a filmmaker who wants to get their screen filmed, please RSVP here on Eventbrite so we have an idea of how many people are showing up, though it's not absolutely necessary.
- Please arrive at 9:30 to sign up and pay $10 fee.
- We would prefer if you had an online link (Youtube preferably) to the film so we can stream directly from our projector but an online link is fine too (we can also cast it to projector).
- Films must be roughly 10 minutes or less (might make an exception for longer if it's a slower turnout).
