Take a walk through Belcourt of Newport, a Gilded Age villa-stable built for the divorced playboy Oliver H.P. Belmont. Three months after his first party in the house, he gets married again and gives it to his second wife, the former Alva Vanderbilt, who would change it forever.

It's an unusual house with a fascinating history, from jazz festivals and a zoo, to a fight over the house and a celebrity wedding, with nearly everything in between.

The guided tour takes about an hour. The second floor is only accessible by the grand staircase.
