This is the slam where every poem starts as a secret and ends as a revelation. Bring the new, bring the raw, bring the real.
đź“ť SLAM RULES:
1. First-round poems must be “New Sh!t.” That means the piece has never been scored at any slam, anywhere. If it’s been judged, it’s not new.
2. Extra points for staying fresh! Any poem performed in later rounds that is also new sh!t earns bonus points
3. 3-minute time limit, with a 10-second grace period. Time begins the moment you engage with the audience—whether that’s a word, a gesture, or a smile.
đź’Ą Judges from the crowd will score the night, but the real reward is putting something brand new into the world.
