In partnership with renowned poet Heidi Sander, the Winnipeg Poetry Slam presents: Canada Is Our Poem, a thematic poetry slam event whereupon the winner's poem will be entered into the Canada Is Our Poem contest. Canada Is Our Poem is an initiative spearheaded by Heidi in response to the acquisition threats brought about by Donald Trump. The top 200 poems will be featured in an anthology, where the winner will receive $1000.00! The winner of our Poetry Slam event, will have their poem submitted on their behalf to be entered into the contest.
