This three-hour restaurant tour of South Osborne will take you through our neighborhood on bike while enjoying a four-course meal along the way.
DESCRIPTION:
South Osborne is increasingly a go-to for fabulous cuisine. With the opening of a variety of restaurants and pubs in the area, showcasing local flavors, there’s even more reasons to check out South Osborne’s restaurant destinations.
This is a South Osborne Bikes & Brunch Tour! This tour includes cycling for approx. 45 min total (at a leisurely pace).
The restaurants included are:
10:30 AM - Chaeban for taste
10:45 AM - Friend Bakery for taste
12:00 PM - Black Market Provisions for taste
12:30 PM - Park Alleys for Taste
Starting location is Chaeban, 390 Osborne Street! Please make sure to wait outside to meet with your tour guides before entering the establishment!
WHO:
Similar to our successful Guided Restaurant Tours over the last couple of summers, the South Osborne BIZ would like to once again offer an opportunity for folks to not only take in these restaurants but to experience the neighborhood in a unique and engaging way.
WHAT:
A three-hour guided restaurant & cycling tour of the South Osborne BIZ, exploring the history, green spaces and architecture of the area while enjoying a four-course meal along the way.
WHEN:
Tour will be offered from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM on Sunday, September 7, 2025.
WHERE:
Each tour involves three or four restaurant stops (to be changed up on each date) as well as several historical/interpretive stops along the way.
FAQs:
Do I need to purchase tickets in advance of the tour date?
Tickets must be purchased in advance through 3Common. Tickets are non-refundable.
PLEASE NOTE: The South Osborne BIZ reserves the right to cancel any given tour within 2 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
Where does the tour begin and end?
The starting location is indicated on each ticket, which is the first restaurant listed, and the end location is the last restaurant listed.
Is parking available near the starting location of the tour?
Street Parking (and bike racks) are available throughout the area.
Are restrooms available during the tour?
Public restrooms at the restaurants will be available throughout the tour.
Will tours be held in bad weather?
Tours will run rain or shine. Please check the weather forecast prior to the tour and dress appropriately according to the forecast. Comfortable footwear is recommended. Should there be lightning, thunder or high winds the day of the tour; please call (204)-299-5744 to ensure the tour is still going ahead.
Are cameras permitted on the tour?
Cameras are highly recommended on the tour.
Is smoking permitted on the tour?
No. Smoking is not permitted on the tour. We ask that all participants are considerate of others and do not smoke while on the tour.
Are gratuities included in the ticket price?
No. Gratuities are not included in the ticket price. Gratuities are not mandatory, but are greatly appreciated.
Will the tastings on the tour fill me up?
The tour includes three food tastings and one tea/coffee tasting which are satisfying for most participants.
Will beverages be provided on the tour?
While not included in the ticket price for the majority of our tours*, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at certain tasting locations (unless stated otherwise). Water will be available throughout the tour.
*For Beer Tasting and Cocktail Tours, beer and cocktails ARE included in the ticket price.
Is the tour child friendly?
Yes, children may participate in the tour, however, we do ask that parents assess whether a walking or cycling food tour is appropriate for their children.
What if I have a dietary restriction or food allergy?
Upon the purchase of your tickets, please be sure to let us know if you, or anyone in your group, have a dietary restriction or food allergy. Advance notice will allow us to do our best to accommodate your needs.
Are there vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available on the tour?
Yes, the vast majority of our tasting locations can offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options with advance notice. When purchasing tickets please notify us regarding specific requests as we will not be able to arrange for alternative options on the day of the tour.
Are tours offered only in English?
Yes, our tours are offered only in English at present.
Where will we be cycling?
Participants will be biking along a variety of off-street paths (where we will be physically separated from motor vehicles) as well as on-street bike routes (where we will focus on streets with lower motor vehicle speeds and volumes), located in the South Osborne area.
Do I need my own bike?
Please bring a bike with you (and helmets required for children). If you do not have a bike, please let us know and we can help you make arrangements to rent one for the tour.
Are animals allowed on the tour?
No, animals/pets are not allowed on the tour unless a service dog is required.
