About this event:
“What a Wonderful Summer” was inspired by a jazz diva from the 1960’s era. They called her Luana Lovestory.
Together with her band she runs away from Las Vegas and her boyfriend/mob leaving everything behind.
Their car breaks down in Winnipeg, leaving her stranded, broken hearted and with no money.
Miraculously they find last minute summer gig at the old Downtown Jazz Bar...

Originating from Rio de Janeiro, Luana is a composer and versatile vocalist. She has graced stages at renowned festivals across Brazil and Canada.

What to expect: vintage cozy ambiance, intimate setting, drinks, good company, excellent acoustics and amazing musical performance.
Music: Jazz Classics, Samba and Bossa Nova in English and Portuguese.
