Meet Miss Val (Valorie Kondos):
A former professional ballet dancer and choreographer with no gymnastics experience. Her determination to figure out how to be successful in a world in which she had no knowledge is the backdrop for her book Life is Short, Don't Wait to Dance. Miss Val was grateful to have the late John Wooden, the legendary and most successful collegiate basketball coach of all time as her mentor and friend. Her coaching emphasized life lessons, individuality and joy. Countless student athletes praise Miss Val for her guidance during and after their athletic careers. Included in the hundreds she has coached or mentored are Olympic Champions Simone Biles, Jordan Wieber, Kyla Ross, Madison Kocian and Katelyn Ohashi.

Valoire is also admired and called upon often for her Executive Coaching for the likes of JP Morgan, NASA, The Kennedy Space Center, Chick-fil-a, General Electric, ARod Corp., USA Artistic Swimming Team and Gucci among many others. Valorie's TED Talk has been seen by close to 10 million viewers and asks the question, "Is All Winning Success". Miss Val just completed her 5th year teaching in the UCLA Master's Program for the Graduate School of Education. Her course, The Philosophy of Coaching and Leadership dissects the philosophies and commonalities of some of the most successful coaches of our generation. In addition to UCLA, Valorie will be teaching at the University of Arkansas this fall as well. A celebrated choreographer Miss Val has choreographed and produced many live shows, TV specials and events including the role of Executive Producer and Supervising Choreographer for the "Gold Over America Tour starring Olympic gymnastics icon Simone Biles with a cast of Olympians from both the women's and men's teams.

As a breast cancer survivor, Valorie's discussion of life lessons is very impactful. Since beating breast cancer, she developed her motto: Life is short, Don't Wait to Dance.
