Are you overwhelmed by NYC school choices and admission processes? Schoolfest will help you navigate through the confusion so that you can make the best decisions for your child. Now in its 16th year, Schoolfest is a one-of-a-kind school fair that brings together ALL types of schools and enrichment providers along with informative workshops ACROSS the educational curve: public, charter, private, early childhood through high school and even, college.
Everyone must have a FREE General Admissions ticket (except for babies and toddlers). Workshop tickets are additional: only $5 pp (normally $30+).

- Most importantly, Schoolfest understands that parents can often be overwhelmed by school choices and admission processes. Schoolfest helps parents navigate through the confusion so that they can make the best choice for their child’s educational needs
SPONSORS AND SUPPORTERS
This activity is not sponsored or endorsed by the NYC Department of Education or the City of New York. Rather, this is a labor of love by a local non-profit group, Town Square BK, for the benefit of our families and community.
- At present time, we are not requiring participants to wear masks or maintain social distance. But this is subject to change depending on government and agency regulations.
- We ask for everyone's cooperation for your safety and ours.
By purchasing or accepting tickets to this event, you (an "Attendee") also agree to the terms and conditions below.
A. CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation requests must be made in writing. Town Square will provide refunds in full until 30 days before the event. There are no refunds if the cancellation request is made on or after 30 days before the event.
In the event of cancellation or postponement of this event due to fire, strikes, government relations, terrorist acts, or other causes beyond the control of the organizers, Town Square will refund as large a portion of the exhibit fee as it reasonably deems consistent with the expenditures and commitments already made.
B. PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO WAIVER
You agree to allow Town Square to use photographs and videos taken at this event ("Photographs") for purposes relating to Town Square's business. You have granted to Town Square the non-exclusive right and license to use the Photographs in the marketing and promotion of Town Square's goods and/or services including but not limited to print publications, advertising and marketing collateral, packaging, signage and digital properties (including the Internet) and all other media, now know or hereafter devised. Town Square may also make modifications or alterations to the Photographs at Town Square’s discretion. You agree that you have waived monetary compensation for this grant of rights and for Town Square’s use of the Photographs.
C. SUBSCRIPTION LISTS
You agree to be added to the subscription lists maintained by Town Square for newsletters and invitations produced by Town Square and our programs including Go Green BK. You understand that if you do not want to receive these mailings, you can unsubscribe yourself by clicking on the unsubscribe link when you receive my newsletters and other materials.
D. HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
You affirm that everyone in your party will not show any COVID-19 symptoms, test positive for COVID-19, travel from a restricted state or country, or be exposed to anyone who is sick or quarantined with COVID-19 during the 5 days before this event.
You affirm that everyone in your party will maintain social distancing or wear a mask if requested by the event organizer.
You agree to allow Town Square to check your temperature before entering or participating. If any individual in your group has a temperature, Town Square reserves the right to prevent your group from participating in the Event and you will forfeit your ticket.
E. RISK AND LIABILITY WAIVER
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you fully release Town Square, its agents, servants and assigns from any claim or liability that you may have on behalf of myself or of the named minor for personal injury or death associated with this trip and associated activities. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you also agree to DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS Town Square, its agents, servants from any and all claims, suits, costs and expenses including attorneys' fees for personal injury, death or property damage against it by you or third parties arising or allegedly arising out of or resulting from your conduct during this trip whether or not Town Square's NEGLIGENCE contributed thereto in whole or in part. YOU FURTHER RELEASE AND GIVE UP ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AND RIGHTS THAT YOU MAY NOW HAVE AGAINST TOWN SQUARE. THIS RELEASES ALL CLAIMS, INCLUDING THOSE OF WHICH YOU AM NOT AWARE AND THOSE NOT MENTIONED IN THIS RELEASE. THIS RELEASE APPLIES TO CLAIMS RESULTING FROM ANYTHING WHICH HAS HAPPENED UP TO NOW. YOU AGREE that any and all disputes between yourself and Town Square arising from my participation in this trip and associated activities shall be GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK and the EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION thereof will be in the state or federal courts of the STATE OF NEW YORK and venue in the state Court shall be Kings County, New York. YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND the terms of this RELEASE AND INDEMNITY PARAGRAPH. You agree to it freely and of your own accord, realizing IT IS BINDING upon yourself, your heirs and assigns, and, in the event that you are agreeing to it on behalf of anyone under 18 years of age, that you have full authority to do so, realizing its BINDING EFFECT on them as well as yourself.
